Dylan just found out that he made the middle school football team!! He is super excited. About 60 kids tried out for 18 spots, so it was pretty competitive. He played a few games last year in 6th grade, but hasn’t played in any leagues until now.

On the way home from work tonight I heard this story about my high school football team on a national radio broadcast. I sorta played on the sophomore team.

Kids go back to school next week, so we’ve been cramming in some end of summer fun this week. Four days camping on Malibu beach wasn’t enough wave time, so we are heading to Newport Beach today. We also went to Universal Studios Monday and the Dodgers-D’Backs game Tuesday.
